Búho Night Bus: A New Way To Travel At Night In Asunción

The Minister of Public Works and Communications, Claudia Centurión, has urged citizens to take advantage of the new “Búho” night transportation service, a safe and accessible alternative for those who need to travel at night.

“We invite all citizens to use this service, which is designed for those who work at night as well as for those who want to go out and enjoy the city. We want people to be encouraged to move around with peace of mind, knowing that they have a safe option to return home,” said the head of the MOPC.

The Búho Night Bus operates every 30 minutes, connecting the center of Asunción with San Lorenzo through a strategic route that covers the main high-traffic points.

“It is a route designed to facilitate access to different key points in the city, allowing users to reach their final destination comfortably and safely,” he added.

He also stressed that each unit of the service has the support of the National Police and the Lince Group.

It is worth noting that the Búho Night Bus service, identified as Line B1, also operates on the eve of holidays and bank holidays. During this long weekend, it is an ideal option for citizens to take advantage of and enjoy various nighttime activities, with the peace of mind of having safe transportation.
