Paraguay To Host First International Meeting Of Women Leaders In Agriculture

Paraguay will host the first International Meeting of Women Leaders in Agriculture. This event will bring women leaders in the agricultural sector from Latin America and other regions of the world together.

The meeting, will take place on 6 and 7 November, 2025, at the Sheraton Hotel in Asunción. The event aims to highlight, connect, and inspire women transforming the agricultural landscape across all links in the production chain.

Conference focus

Over two intensive days, conferences, panels, and dialogue spaces will focus on key topics such as innovation, sustainability, access to finance, generational succession, and market trends. The work of rural women making concrete changes in their communities will also be highlighted, contributing a transformative and resilient perspective to the sector’s development.

Organised by SENDA Agrobusiness, the event seeks to establish itself as a regional platform for female leadership in agriculture. It will offer a space for exchanging experiences, building networks, and fostering business opportunities.

SENDA Agrobusiness is a platform that promotes the transformation of agriculture from a feminine, human, and sustainable perspective. This organisation was created to strengthen the role of women as agents of change, and leaders of agricultural projects. And as promoters of sustainable development in Paraguay, and the region.

Official launch

The official presentation of the first International Meeting of Women Leaders in Agriculture took place recently at the UENO Bank stand within the framework of Expo Py 2025, held at the Rural Association of Paraguay (ARP) grounds. This strategic choice aimed to amplify the reach and visibility of the meeting, nationally and regionally.

The first meeting was projected as a benchmark event within the agricultural calendar, positioning Paraguay as a key meeting point for female leadership in the rural sector.
