Flybondi’s Flight Schedule: Encarnación to Buenos Aires From August 24

Flybondi will begin direct flights between Buenos Aires (Ezeiza International Airport) and Encarnación (Teniente Amín Ayub González Airport) starting Sunday, August 24. The announcement of Flybondi’s flight schedule followed the recent announcement of the the Argentine low-cost airline to launch four weekly flights connecting the Argentine capital with the south of Paraguay

Flights from Encarnación will depart at 7:40 PM, arriving at Ezeiza International Airport at 9:25 PM. Flights from Buenos Aires will depart at 5:00 PM, arriving at Teniente Amín Ayub González Airport at 6:40 PM. The flights, lasting approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, will operate four times a week, offering a convenient and efficient travel option between the two cities.

Boosting regional development and tourism

Angie Duarte, Paraguay’s Minister of Tourism (Senatur), announced the news on social media. She stated: “Encarnación opens up to the world! The World Rally Championship accelerates, moves, and delivers. And tourism responds with more connectivity and opportunities for all. The new air link reinforces the public and private sectors’ commitment to regional development and promotes Paraguay as a destination for unique events and experiences. This new route strengthens Encarnación’s role as a host city and driver of national tourism.

To celebrate the new route, Flybondi launched a promotional fare of US$158 for a return ticket. This announcement comes amidst the momentum generated by the World Rally Championship, positioning Encarnación as a strategic destination on the international tourism map.

Ninth international destination

With this addition, Encarnación becomes Flybondi’s ninth international destination, which already connects to more than 20 cities in Argentina. The airline currently operates a fleet of 16 to 18 Boeing 737-800 aircraft, a model with which it plans to serve the new direct route between Encarnación and Buenos Aires.

Flybondi primarily operates domestic flights within Argentina, connecting key cities including Buenos Aires, Rosario, Córdoba, Mendoza, Salta, Tucumán, Jujuy, Ushuaia, and others. It also serves destinations in Bolivia and Brazil. Flybondi previously operated international flights from Buenos Aires to Asunción from December 2018 to March 2020, before services were suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.
