The Paraguayan Chamber of Electronic Commerce (CAPACE), with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, has launched a new edition of Hot Sale 2026, scheduled to take place from 6 to 8 April 2026. Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) will be able to take part in the platform free of charge.
The initiative provides a push to encourage greater participation from entrepreneurs. Through this digital marketplace, businesses can display their products and connect with a broader audience across the country.
Hot Sale 2026 opportunities
Around 90 shops will join the event, offering promotions and discounts across the country. The Hot Sale 2026 was announced by the Vice Minister of Commerce and Services, Alberto Sborovsky; the National Director of Entrepreneurship, Romina Da Re; and the President of CAPACE, Andrés Veirano. Other authorities from the Ministry and the Chamber also attended the launch.
During the presentation, Vice Minister Sborovsky highlighted Paraguay’s progress in adopting digital tools for the commercialisation of products and services. He noted that the Hot Sale reflects the growth of the national digital ecosystem. He also recalled that previous editions generated US$5.4 million in sales in just three days, with expectations to surpass US$6 million this year. The Hot Sale has recorded growth of over 50% in sales volume, reflecting the expansion of e-commerce in the country.
For her part, the National Director of Entrepreneurship, Romina Da Re, welcomed the inclusion of MSMEs in this edition. She stated that it provides a concrete opportunity to strengthen their digital presence and increase sales. She added that businesses participating in previous editions achieved up to 190% higher daily sales compared to regular trading days.
“The Hot Sale 2026 is a major opportunity for our entrepreneurs. Those wishing to participate must have their own e-commerce platform (not social media sales accounts such as Facebook or Instagram), but rather a website that can be uploaded to the Hot Sale platform during these three days to promote discounts,” she explained.
Sustained growth for MSMEs
Meanwhile, CAPACE President Andrés Veirano noted that the event has reached its sixth edition, reflecting steady growth. He emphasised that the free inclusion of MSMEs is designed to expand opportunities for local businesses to compete on equal terms within the digital ecosystem. This move opens the door for more ventures to join the major digital marketplace and compete alongside larger players.
This approach comes at a crucial time, as MSMEs continue to consolidate their role as Paraguay’s main job creators. According to the National Statistics Institute (INE), MSMEs employ the majority of the country’s workforce.
In this way, Hot Sale 2026 is shaping up to be a new opportunity to boost e-commerce and expand the participation of MSMEs in Paraguay’s digital market.
