Paraguayan Artists: Top 3 Music Awards Celebrate National Talent

The local creative pulse found its epicentre on Saturday, 28 February 2026, as the 6th edition of the Top 3 Music Awards unfolded. Hosted by the platform Paraguayan Artists, the ceremony has solidified its reputation not just as a prize-giving gala, but as a vital mirror reflecting the growth and diversity of the national music scene.

A fusion of sound and style

In 2026, the choice of venue was a statement in itself. By selecting Fauvé Lab & Concept Store, the organisers created a sophisticated intersection between independent music and national fashion. The minimalist, avant-garde backdrop of the store provided a canvas where the “protagonists” could shine, proving that Paraguayan art is a multidisciplinary force. The atmosphere blended creativity and style, highlighting how different artistic fields can meet and reinforce one another in the same space.

The DNA of the Top 3 Music Awards remains rooted in community. As Julián Shigeyuki, Director of Paraguayan Artists, noted during the evening:

“Paraguayan Artists was born from the urgent need for a dedicated space to broadcast and elevate our national talent.”

This peer-to-peer philosophy was palpable throughout the night, transforming a competition into a collective celebration. Artists, producers, and creatives gathered not only to recognise achievements but also to reinforce the sense of collaboration that defines the contemporary Paraguayan music scene.

The nominations this year displayed a refreshing genre-bending variety:

Album of the Year featured a competitive line-up including Motus by Per Se, DOMX by Domingo ST.X, and Un poco más by Martín Acosta.

Song of the Year included Burrerita by Chabela Ri featuring Mister H, as well as Burrerita by Melissa Hicks with Tekove, and De esto se trata vivir by Pablo Ortiz featuring Marcelo Gabriel, Jaime Zacher, Humbertiko, and Emma Sofía.

Artist of the Year and Revelation also reflected the diversity of emerging and established talent, with names such as José Viera, Luma, and Ax Monroe appearing alongside fresh faces including Reinaldii, Javier Cristaldo, and Eugim.

Honouring the legacy of Diego Serafini

Following in the footsteps of legends such as Berta Rojas and Rolando Chaparro, the distinction this year was granted to Diego Serafini. The recognition honours his tireless work as a producer and musician, acknowledging him as a cornerstone of the modern Paraguayan soundscape.

A visual finale for the Top 3 Music Awards

Breaking away from traditional trophy speeches, this edition prioritised the image and the essence of the creators. The climax of the event was an exclusive photo shoot session.

The photo shoot was a fitting end for a night that sought to do more than simply hand out awards. The ceremony aimed to build an iconographic memory for the artists and to celebrate the evolving identity of Paraguay’s contemporary music scene.
