Now celebrating its 44th edition, AFW 2025 is poised to deliver one of its most dynamic, inspiring, and unforgettable events yet. Set in a spectacular new home that perfectly captures its spirit: the historic and soulful Centro Cultural del Puerto.

Asunción Fashion Week 2025 kicks off

The week kicks off on Thursday, May 22 with the highly anticipated Fashion Talks at Universidad Americana (Av. Brasilia 1100). Starting at 14:00, this free but exclusive event invites fashion students, industry professionals, and enthusiasts alike. Together they will dive deep into the trends, challenges, and innovations shaping Latin America’s fashion landscape.

The lineup is packed with visionaries, including architect and designer Hugo Vázquez, whose work blurs the lines between fashion and structural design; Innovamos Consulting, a leader in fashion business strategies; Javier Abbate, CEO of the streetwear brand Vagos; Mariam González of Sin Documentos agency; and Leticia Cano, CEO of Garbo Imagen Internacional. Each session promises to spark inspiration and open new doors for everyone eager to learn and connect.

Runway shows

Then, the spotlight shifts to the Asunción Fashion Week runway shows on Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25, starting each day at 14:00 at the Centro Cultural del Puerto. Here, the most exciting and innovative names in Paraguayan fashion – Cecilia Espínola, Caburé, Anghel Roderick, Boho, Belén Ortellado, William Ramírez, Discordia, Ambros, and many others – will unveil their latest collections. Blending local traditions with cutting-edge trends. Notably, AFW welcomes the international flair of Bolivian brand Hijos de Ramón and Uruguayan designer Steven Vázquez, whose unique perspectives add a continental rhythm to the event.
