This is within the framework of the control of the fishing ban, through a series of actions aimed at preserving fishing resources and biodiversity.

In the Tebicuary River, the teams involved removed approximately 250 meters of longlines in the Centucué sector; while in the area between the Remanso bridge and kilometers 13 to 20 of the Paraguay River, 600 meters were extracted.

Controls on the Paraná River and the Paranamí Creek resulted in the seizure of 2,000 meters of longlines, 800 meters of monofilament nets and 100 meters of duck or floating longlines.

Likewise, in the Puerto Rosario area of the Paraguay River, on the route from Mbopy Kua to Puerto Celia, technicians removed around 500 meters of longlines with hooks of various sizes.
