Expo Vino Is Back, Bringing World-Class Wines To Paraguay

The XVI edition of Expo Vino will bring together more than 200 labels of red, white, and rosé wines from over nine countries. From June 24 to 26, the event will be at Talleyrand – Costanera. The expo is organised by Grupo Garden with Volvo as official presenter and Banco Itaú as sponsor. It will unfold across three evenings with different proposals for all palates.

Rodrigo Rivarola, representative of the Paraguayan Chamber of Goods, Services and Related Providers (Capro), confirmed the participation of between 15 and 17 exhibitors who will present wines from the Americas, Europe, and other emerging regions.

Three evenings with differentiated proposals

The event will kick off on 24th June with Premium Night, an exclusive evening offering a special selection of wines available only on that occasion. This opening will feature expanded catering services for those seeking a high-level experience in a more intimate and select atmosphere.

The 25th and 26th of June will be Traditional Nights, where the public can tour different stands and taste more than 200 available wines. The schedule for each evening will be from 7:00 PM to 11:30 PM at Talleyrand – Costanera.

Guaranteed quality and unique experiences

To ensure the event’s quality, organisers established a minimum price for bottles displayed during Premium Night, guaranteeing that only the finest wines are present.

The oenological journey will encompass everything from classic varieties to innovative proposals from different regions worldwide. Attendees will receive a Stolzle Lausitz glass, the official glass of the International Sommelier Association, as part of the experience.

Growth of the wine market

Paraguay’s wine market has experienced significant growth in recent years. “Today we have wines from all over the world and it is difficult to imagine that suddenly one might have here in Paraguay availability of wineries from European countries that does not exist in the region,” highlighted Rivarola.

Capro’s representative noted that the diversification of labels and public curiosity to explore new flavours drive this development.

Expo Vino Sold-out tickets confirm success

Expo Vino is already sold out!

Expectations for the event are high. In the previous edition, tickets sold out in less than 30 days for both evenings. A pattern that was repeated this year.

Tickets for both evenings, offered via Ticketea, are already sold out! The tickets were priced at 550,000 Guaraníes (69 USD, 60 EUR) for Premium Night. The price was 270,000 Guaraníes (34 USD, 30 EUR) for Traditional Night.

The sell-out confirms the growing interest of Paraguayan public in premium wines and consolidates Expo Vino as the country’s most important wine event.
